Augmented Reality for Marketing

Augmented Reality

Augmented Reality for Marketing.

At the time of writing this, we are in the midst of the Covid-19 lockdown. When we emerge we need to all we can to get the economy moving again.

Austechvr is based on the Gold Coast and one of our main markets is tourism, community/fan engagement and event attraction. So for us, it is natural to really start pushing technology that we think will give these industries the kick start they need post Covid-19.

Augmented Reality is special, nearly every person has a phone capable of running an Augmented Reality experience. One hurdle we have though is there is a real reluctance for people to install new apps on their phones.

Because of this, we are working hard on creating WebAR experiences for one and all. We have the process and tech available to do this and initial tests are very promising.

How does it work? We can create Augmented Reality experiences that run directly from your web browser on your phone or tablet, this can be accessed by a link such as a QR code or bit.ly link redirection.

The results are amazing, it is so much better than traditional marketing where you send out booklets, videos etc. Even better, you can still use booklets, pamphlets, signage etc but we can activate them so they come to life and REALLY tell the story for you.

You can see in the demo’s shown on this page that we have activated a book and also a newspaper and have used images, video and also 3D models. Just by this combination of assets you can create some truly memorable and compelling content that will ensure you attract people to your event, city, region or state.

Leverage Augmented Reality and be ready to go once our country opens up again.
